Great Running Driving Project

Here we have a beautiful 1961 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan. This is a “barn find” type car that was just shipped up from North Carolina last month. Essentially a one family owned car. Car was originally purchased by a North Carolina funeral home and used to transport family members to services. When the funeral home closed, the primary driver and maintainer of the vehicle purchased it from his employer and kept it ever since. It was used for the casual Sunday drive and was parked in a garage about 20 years ago where it remained until recently being brought back to life. It runs and drives and is a very solid, straight and original car. This is a great start to a project and with a little tweaking would be a great driver car. I’ve puttered around town with it and it gets a lot of looks. Fuel tank and fuel pump are new. Front shocks are new. Carburetor is an Edelbrock that was just rebuilt but could use a little fine tuning. I’m not an Edelbrock fan myself. The original carburetor is still with the vehicle if the next owner choses to rebuild it. Water pump, radiator hoses and master cylinder were recently replaced. Exhaust needs some repair and the driver’s side manifold has a crack in it but there is a new manifold in the trunk. The mufflers and pipes are new. Must be seen to be appreciated. We don’t often find cars like this in New England. Save $1000’s on restoration by not having to do any major body work or rust and rot repair.

Clean North Carolina title in hand. Come with cash and a trailer and she could be your next cruise night ride.
