Hello… Up for bid is a Beautiful 1956 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible! This is a beautifully restored show car that was very well cared for. It was in a collection for many years and driven to a few shows per year. a healthy GM 400CID V8 Engine and Automatic transmission. This car runs and drives great and is ready to enjoy. The steering is straight and handles nicely. It rides very smooth down the road. The brakes were recently done and stops on a dime. Also the Coker Firestone Wide Whitewall Tires are newer sitting on a restored set of real wire wheels (over $5K for wheels and tires alone!) The car has power steering for an easy and enjoyable drive. It was restored about 20 years ago and kept in a climate controlled pole barn. The paint is finished in beautiful Black Cherry Metallic with custom ghost pin striping. (I tried to take photos in direct sun to show off the colors.) The paint shines like a mirror and looks like you can jump right into it. It was finished in base coat clear coat. The body is straight and beautiful. The power operated convertible top is also recently finished and works great up and down. The top was chopped a few inches and has shaved and smoothed doors. This is a stunning show car that was not enjoyed as much as desired. It has a few small paint chips touched up as expected but overall this car shows outstanding and is ready to show off! You will get attention and compliments everywhere it goes. The interior is custom with bucket seats and middle console. Finished in two-tone red that sets the car off nicely. It is in great shape and comfortable. The car also comes with a nice convertible boot which I did not have on for pictures. The engine compartment shows nice as does the trunk. The underside was zebarted and floors look like they were patched. It has auxilary gauges, power windows, power steering, upgraded power cooling fan, power top, dual exhaust system with a great rumble, etc. I have new power remote door openers that go with the car as well.
