1959 Cadillac DeVille Additional Info:

1959 Cadillac Sedan Deville flat top. Needs full restoration. Originally a white car that was painted black ages ago. Has air conditioning, 6 way power seat, and power windows. Car is complete except for the passenger front wheel well molding, fender side trim (reproduced) and the "V"s (also reproduced).
Car came from Texas originally and has been off the road for decades. The body is straight and the bumpers and trim are all pretty nice, no holes and not dented up. It needs the 4 floor pans replaced, from the typical problem of carpet getting wet and rusting the floors out. It needs 2 rear floor pan braces, the rest of the braces are good. This is not an east coast rust bucket car. Rockers and inner rockers very nice, trunk floor rock solid, passenger lower quarter has a little rust above skirt and on also outer quarter bottom. Drivers side lower quarter is nice, so are inner quarters, lower fenders are actually quite good. Hood and trunk are good not perfect but not bad, a couple door bottoms need work.Interior needs redoing, the door panels are halfway decent but still need work. (see photos). Rear seat isn't in very good shape so I am including another one. Dash in good shape, has all parts, headlight switch is nice. the driver front window works, that window motor is new
Motor cranks with the key. All the correct, hard to find AC specific parts are there. I have done the following mechanical work:rebuilt original Carter carbnew fuel pumpnew fuel filter, cleaned lines and housingnew water pump and thermostatall belts and hoses replacedspark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor replaced.new battery cables.it has spark and fuel but isn't running, I suspect the starter needs rebuilding as it's turning over a little slow. I will try to mess with getting it running more this week, but I'm running out of time to work on it, so selling it as non running for now.Has title, keys for ignition and trunk$500 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours.
