1959 Cadillac Series 62 Standard Additional Info:
This pretty cool 1959 Cadillac Flattop 4drht has been stored away in dry Southern New Mexico for around 35 years before recently being brought out of storage and shipped to Southern Arizona. And the Cadillac is now in my restoration shop in down town Phoenix. As you can see it still has the original paint, what is left of it.
I included a picture of the identical car in the same color for reference so please understand, the really nice car in one picture is not the car I am advertising!
There's plenty of surface rust but very little rust needing repair, see my pictures.Except for the very minor rust that you see in the pictures there's some rust in the right and left front floor pans also. All very easy to repair.
The car is 98%-99% complete. After taking the pictures I found a very nice gas door for the rear grill so the car now has a very nice gas door. The fender skirts got left in New Mexico when the car was picked up, they are supposed to be sent to us and in that case they are going with the Cadillac, I just can't promise right now.
The car has PS, PB, PW, P-seat, factory A/C, tinted glass so it is well equipped from new.
We put oil in the cylinders and after letting it soak for a few days we checked on the engine and it turns over fine. We have not started up the engine or done anything else.So except for new tires and a clean up job we have not done anything else with the Cadillac since buying it.
We already have around 45 cars in the shop including 4 1959 Cadillac's so we are selling this car cheap in the condition you see it.We can clean the fuel tank, rebuild the brakes, rebuild the carburetor, service the engine and the transmission, install a new battery, water pump, replace fuel lines etc, etc and make the car running and driving also, it will cost probably $4000. Just let us know if that is of interest.
The Cadillac can be seen at our restoration shop, Copperstate Classic Cars in Phoenix, Arizona Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM.We do encourage inspection and please do the inspection and/or ask questions before bidding!!!
The Cadillac comes with a good, old New Mexico title.
We have been exporting cars from Arizona to over 25 different countries all over the globe for the last 32 years so export is never a problem. And we still send containers with cars and parts to Sweden every month so we offer easy shipping to our Scandinavian customers!
Please ask questions before bidding and also please ask questions early, we might not be able to answer questions the last few hours of the auction.
And lastly, PLEASE don't bid unless you are willing and able to pay should you be the winning bidder.
