Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #3+ (Beautiful Rare Driver)

Here is a very rare and absolutely drop dead gorgeous 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Seville 2-Door Hard Top in excellent condition inside and out. This car was recently purchased out of a gentleman's estate who had a nice size car collection. This was of the many that was sold with the Estate which we required and also another Cadillac which we have already sold. This is the first time this car has been on the market in almost a decade and it is a nice solid car that that has received a very nice cosmetic restoration in the last 10 years. It is finished in its original color of Starlight Silver Metallic with a Black vinyl top and also its factory correct Black and White leather interior. It is nicely equipped with its original 365ci V8 with factory dual quads, ultra rare factory air conditioning and beautiful rare chrome Sabre wheels wrapped in white wall radial tires. This car has always been very well taken care of and stored indoors and driven regularly to car shows. This is a very rare car as only 2,100 were ever produced and who knows how many are left to this day. This baby is ready to jump in to go cruising and will be a great addition to any collection or a really great driver or weekend toy that will show well at any car show.

Exterior: *Condition #3+

The exterior of this Cadillac is in beautiful condition and as we said before we believe the cosmetic restoration to be about 10 years ago. It has been painted once in its original factory color and you can still see original paint in the jams so you can tell its been a nice car its entire life. The paint was finished using a basecoat/clearcoat process, hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish, and it looks excellent throughout. The chrome and trim appears to have all been redone and it still looks beautiful. Even the quarter chrome and rear bumper ends are beautiful. It has the gold plated emblems which are in very nice condition. All of the glass is very beautiful, crystal clear and appears to be all original. The Black vinyl top appears to have been redone when the car was restored and it also look spectacular. The grille and a couple other pieces appear to be original but other than that it appears as if everything has been completely redone. The body is very straight and solid and everything lines up excellent. The paint being a little older does have a couple chips here and there that have been touched up but overall it shows wonderfully and It is not one of those cars that you are going to be scared of driving. All of the rubbers and weatherstripping are in excellent condition as well and it even still has its original T3 headlights in it. It is sitting on its gorgeous and correct chrome Sabre wheels wrapped in like-new Goodyear wide white wall radial tires. Overall the exterior really shows wonderfully, has a very good look and is a great car to take out to car shows and enjoy.

Interior: *Condition #3+

The interior in this Cadillac is very nice as well and appears to have been completely restored and redone. It is finished in its factory two-tone Black and White leather upholstery and it is beautiful. All the materials used are correct materials including the correct leather patterned door panels. The dash pad looks as if it could be original but it very nice, the steering wheel and horn ring look great and all the chrome and brightwork on the dash is very clean and bright and in excellent condition. The headliner is beautiful and the carpets look great and are very clean. Everything works in the car including the horn, directionals, gauges, heater/defroster, power windows, power antenna and power seat except for the clock and wipers. The radio seems to work intermittently but could be an easy fix. Inside the trunk has all been redone as well and looks gorgeous. The original jack, 5th chrome Sabre wheel and jack instructions are all there and the weatherstripping has all been replaced. The odometer shows 43k miles which could possibly be original miles but we do not have any proof of that. Overall the interior on this Cadillac is beautiful and really fits the exterior perfectly.

Mechanically: *Condition #3+

Mechanically this Cadillac runs and drives excellent. It is powered by its original 365ci V8 with factory Dual Quads and automatic transmission. It purrs like a kitten and truly runs and drives fantastic. Under the hood is clean, correct and detailed including the correct batwing air cleaner, air conditioning compressor etc. It really shows wonderfully when you pop the hood. It also comes with an external fuel pump which was installed during the restoration and the air conditioning is completely all there and blows but not cold. We are going to have that checked out and see if we can't have it charged. The suspension is nice and tight, the exhaust sounds great, the brakes stop excellent and straight and the car drives straight as well. Overall the car really runs and drives great and there really isn't anything it needs.

Under Carriage: *Condition #3

The underside of this Cadillac is very clean and looks great. It is solid as a rock with zero current rust to speak of. You can tell its never really had any rust underneath with its original floor pans and rocker panels. It appears to be 99% rust-free as the bottom of the right front fender and one of the doors had some minor work done but is very common for these cars. Overall it is a great car and will make a excellent piece for any existing collection or starting collection. Don't miss out on this rare beautiful Cadillac!
