1991 Cadillac DeVille Sedan Deville Additional Info:
I was just offered a job in Europe. We are moving soon, and can only take 1 car per licensed driver. I don't want to, but I must sell it before we go. I've started the bidding at an INCREDIBLY low $1500. There is no reserve, it will sell to the highest bidder. I don't have time to wait for the perfect buyer to come along and offer the $6k its worth. I have to sell it NOW before we leave. I've also got a beautiful Ducati superbike up for sale if you're interested. Can't take all my toys.Title is clean, clear, in my name, and in my possession. No issues, no drama. Car is located in Lakeland, FL.. almost the exact midway point between Tampa and Orlando... and about an hour from either airport.I've made a 17-minute video of the car, up close, running & driving beautifully. I'm not a dealer, or a reseller, or a scrapper. I'm just a private car enthusiast, forced to sell something that I really don't want to. I've been an eBay member since 2003. I've bought & sold many vehicles on eBay, and I've maintained my 100% feedback rating my listing everything I sell thoroughly, honestly, with as much detail as you can stand, and I always provide a thorough video for the vehicles I've sold. I've NEVER received anything but perfect feedback on every car & motorcycle I've sold... in 15 years. Have faith that what you are bidding on, is exactly as I've described it.... the good and the bad.
$1000 deposit due via Paypal withing 48 hours of auction close. Remainder of payment due within 7 days via bank check, or bank transfer. No personal checks. Due to short-notice moving requirements, you must pick up the car by JULY 30th - NO EXCEPTIONS. If you cannot pick it up by then, it is your responsibility to procure a storage facility in the local area. I will assist in any way possible, but we are LEAVING THE COUNTRY, so picking it up on time is imperative. I'll keep it stored in my garage for you, but you MUST come get it by the end of July.History:
One owner car. My grandmother bought it brand new in 1991. I inherited it when she recently passed away. It sat for a long time in her carport. I've thoroughly cleaned the paint, 3-stage polished it, etc. It is the original paint, and it is in excellent condition.. Impeccable condition when you consider how old it is. The interior is just as clean. You would be hard-pressed to find this year/type car anywhere in the world this clean. Almost a "time capsule".
I've done a few mechanical things to it, a few cosmetic things, and there are a couple of very minor things left to do... but all the parts have been bought, and come with the car. Car is absolutely road-worthy, drives and looks excellent. The few things it needs are "nitpicky".
I have a TON of documentation from all the service the car has received.... since it was new. I even have the original bill of sale.
Mechanical:
Engine & Transmission run FLAWLESSLY (see video). No knocking, no leaking, no smoking... nothing. Rides like a brand new car. Accelerates, pulls and shifts very strong (see video... I took it for a drive)
EVERYTHING works,,,, air conditioning is ice cold, cruise control, power windows, locks, seats, power trunk, radio, electric antenna, EVERY light bulb, EVERY digital panel.... EVERYTHING works as it should.
Tires are brand new - less than 15 miles.
Wheel covers are new-old-stock... literally brand new, never installed on a car ever... less than 15 miles.
ORIGINAL AIR-RIDE SUSPENSION still works perfectly, and hasn't been replaced with a cheaper "standard" suspension like most of these old cadillacs over the years. Car rides like a cloud of air.
New battery - 6 months ago
New subframe bushings (all 4) 2 months ago - Car is NOT rotted underneath like so many GMs of this era.
****There is a slight "tapping" coming from the front suspension. Very minor. Does not affect the driveability, more of a "nuisance". I "thought" the subframe bushings would correct it, but they didn't. I purchased EVERY front suspension component for the car, including the strut bearings. I haven't had time to get to it, but my theory was to just keep "throwing parts" at it until the noise goes away. All the parts (all brand new) come with the car... I just ran out of time to do it. Again.. doesn't affect the driveability of the car at all.... its just "irritating"
**** Brakes.... work ok... but feel a little squishy & wobbly. Brand new rear rotors and rear pads come with the car (again, I just havent had time to get to it). Again, the car drives great.... just little things that need some attention.
Cosmetic:
Beautiful yellow exterior (original paint)
Beautiful yellow plush leather interior - a few creases, but no deep cracks or broken seams. Soft as the pillow on your bed. The yellow leather interior in this car is truly a sight to behold.
Headliner is in great shape... every digital panel on the dashboard works as it should... ALL of them.
**** The fuel data center panel works as it should, but is occasionally intermittent and flickers on and off. Tapping the headlight switch usually corrects it.
A few chips here and there, 1 noticeable scratch, 1 small ding in the hood. All are clearly pictured in the video.
Absolutely IMPECCABLE condition considering it's age, and the fact that this is a 100% original, unrestored car.
Summary:
I'm really at a loss here. I'm forced to sell it... I really don't want to (It's my grandmother's car for God's sake).... but I have no choice. Even worse, I have to list it with an incredibly low starting point to be 100% sure it sells... because I don't have time to re-list it.
Once in a lifetime opportunity. You're not going to find one this clean.... especially not at this price point. My loss is your gain.
Please ask any questions before bidding.... all sales are final.
Good luck and happy bidding.

If you are a zero feedback bidder, I will cancel your bid. Sorry, eBay has become a shady place over the past 5-6 years, and I've been duped by non-paying bidders before. Ebay won't hold them accountable. Ebay doesnt care, so it's easier to just delete them and not have to worry about it potentially happening.
