Welcometo our listing for this CLASSIC 1970 Cadillac Eldorado. This is a local trade from a family who owned the Cadillac for 15 years. This is an original car that is unrestored and in very good condition and has only 98,059 miles on the odometer. This is a unmolested and unrestored classic luxury car that has been mostly in storage the last 15 years, only being driven on special occasions.
Cadillac has always produced some of the finest luxury vehicles. The '70 Eldorado was not only a luxury car, but it was fabulous in it's design, the body lines are simple and fantastic. The grill and uniquetaillightsare a testimony to Cadillac'scommitmentto luxury and style. and the interior on this car is beautiful.
The 1970 Cadillac introduced the 8.2Liter500 CU IN engine and was the largest engine to be put in an Eldorado. The automatic transmission shifts properly and the Cadillac drives out good. This Cadillac has all the options you desire including Power Windows and Power Seats. Everything is in working order except the cruise control.
The exterior looks to be original paint and does show some wear. There are chips in the paint and a small area of surface rust behind the rear window, and there is a dent in the passenger door. I have posted pictures of both these areas. Thevinyltop is in great condition and the chrome is in great shape except a small spot on the lower rear bumper, this is also shown in a photo.
The interior shows really nice for a 46 year old car. There is the normal wear on the leather seats, the dash board and headliner are in near perfect condition. The carpet is amazing for a car this old!
Final Thoughts: This would be a delightful car to drive on a daily basis, or use it for local cruise nights and summer car shows. You have at least three choices on what to do with this car. You could drive it the way it is, add some bling with 22" wheels and make it a cruiser, or do a restoration.
