1940 Cadillac Other Additional Info:
1940 Cadillac Series 60 Special. Painted in the factory correct Long Key Green Iridescent and upholstered with the correct Gray-Green Bedford Cord, this beautiful Caddy makes a positive and powerful first impression wherever it arrives. The original and highly detailed 346 cubic inch flathead V8 purrs with precision at any speed, while the 3-speed manual transmission shifts as smoothly as any manual I have ever driven. If you have not driven a pre-war Cadillac with a real Fleetwood body, it is difficult to understand the build quality of this era. Stunning. The original radio, complete with call-letters on the preset buttons (WABC etc.), still functions reliably! This baby even features the correct and unusual under-seat heaters. This car is surprisingly easy to drive, with light, accurate controls and a vault-like structure. A go-anywhere classic with room for your entourage
