1962 Cadillac Eldorado Series 62 - Restored
This is a totally restores 1962 Cadillac Eldorado Series 62. Only 1450 were produced, approximately 75-90 cars exist today. So it is rare to find one of these. It has a 390 Motor, Jetaway Transmission and Rochester Carb.
I am the 3rd owner (previously owned by grandfather then grandson), and it is a low mileage rust free car. The restoration was done in Los Angeles supervised by well-known classic car restorer - a long-time Cadillac and LaSalle Club member.
Here is some of the restoration that was performed:
1. Paint - stripped to bare metal and painted Alpine White - $9000
2. Transmission rebuilt by and carb resealed - $4500
3. Brake system replaced and alignment performed - $2500
4. Chrome, stainless, powder coating restoration - $17,000
5. Upholstery, top, windows and all carpet replaced - $16000
6. New convertible top and motor/cylinders replaced - $2500
7. Dash and instrument panels restored - $3300
