We found this car in TN, in storage. It has a lengthy "story" with it, although interesting cannot be verified one way or the other, so lets just cover the facts. The exterior was re-done about 10 years ago for previous owner, as was the mechanicals in the form of general maintenance and repair (not fully disassembled). The paintwork is a solid 7+ on a 10 scale, straight body lines no filler no waves shiny with gloss.
The car was driven several thousand miles by previous owner, then put into storage, where it sat for approx. 4 years, until we purchased it.
After checking everything out, we drove it to several cruises, and have enjoyed the car and the attention it gets, but it is ready for its new owner to care for it and store it properly, so it will be a lasting testimony to an era of craftsmanship long since past.
Even though the car can be driven and enjoyed just like she is, to be "slick", in my opinion, the car needs the interior refreshed and restored (approx. $2,000), and opinions vary, but a different set of wheels and tires to the new owners taste could really set this car off tremendously.
We believe this car, in its current condition, to be valued at approx. $ 8,000, as compared to comparable sales at a national auction, local prices seem higher, but are all over the place from 10-20.
Feel free to ask any questions that you may have about the car or its condition, or even the "story", come take it for a drive and check it all out.
