1933 Buick Victoria 50 Series, 5 Passenger Coupe
All Original - Well Optioned - In Storage Nearly 50 Years!
Great Street Rod (Resto Rod) Candidate - Or Restore Original!
This rare ol' Buickhas an amazing body with hardly any rust or sizable dents. The car has 6 original (optional) Artillery wheels, dual sidemount spares, fold-down trunk rack, and even a pair of TRIPPE lights. The dash is in beautiful original condition, as is steering wheel. The car is 98+% complete - only parts I've notice to be missing are the original horns, original headlight lens (converted to sealed beams a long time ago), one of the TRIPPE light brackets, and maybe a few other odds and ends. You'll look high and low tofind another bodythis nice! If you've ever restored a car from the ground up,the saving of starting with the right foundation is paramount to the overall build. The doors on this Buick shut nicely, the windows all roll up properly, and thebody lines are straight. Rust - none that Ihave found! I'm sure you can find a cheaper car to start with than this one (my reserve is between12-13K), but I am confident you won't be able to finish the build for less moneyif you started for 5K less!
I purchased car from a South Carolina family who had owned the car since the 1940's (documented). I believe it was last driven in the 1960's, and garaged since. My intent was to do atasteful resto-rod, but it seems that I have too many projects......and not enough time. So, I am offering this car, and a few of my othersfor sale. Once I sell4 more of my 15 cars, the rest will stay....so don't wait around or you maymiss the chance.
This Buick is being sold with a clear South Carolina title, signed offby the prior owner sometime in the late 1960's or early 1970's. I will also include a copy of the bill of sale of when I purchased it several years ago,as well as a new bill of sale for your purchase. However, please note that the caris NOT currently registered.
The lastseveral photos are ofa fewdifferent 1933 BuickResto-Rods - togive you an idea of how classy these Buickslook finished. The elegant hood and grill, side mount spares and trunkback design are so classy!!
