Step back in time with this ultra rare Brass Era 1909 Buick Model 10 Rumble Seat. Introduced in 1907 at the New York Automobile show, Buick's Model 10 - the Gentleman's Light Four Cylinder Roadster quickly became the company's best seller. Motor World called it " The Sensation of the Show" !!! Almost from the beginning Buick had proved a big competitor on the racetracks with Model 10 winning at Daytona and a hill-climb victory at Atlanta in 1909. This antique 115 years old gem featured here comes in white with a nicely done black interior, has a very clean engine compartment and is powered by a four cylinder engine - cast in pairs, planetary transmission, cone clutch, and shaft drive putting out 23 horsepower with a top speed of 40mph - 64.36 km/h, runs and drives well, hand crank start only, engine turns on very easy. Artillery Wooden wheels and new tires/tubes, full of expensive brass goodies - reminiscent of antique Cadillac or Packard models, super clean underneath and no rust at all, older authentic restoration in super nice condition. Acetylene based brass headlamps are functional and connected to the Badger Brass Solar generator that you can see on the running board - passenger side, patented on January 3rd 1899, a can of Calcium Carbide is placed in the trunk compartment under the rumble seat, also functional side and tail oil lamps and a bulb brass horn.
