1932 Buick Series 50 Additional Info:
1932 BUICK SERIES 50 SEDAN• Very complete rust-free car just out of 35 years of dry storage in Idaho• This original 1932 Buick is said to have remained with its original owner until the 1990’s when it was purchased by the late husband of the current owner. Odometer shows 29,000 original miles• Power is provided by the original 82 HP 230 Cubic inch Straight Eight engine paired with the original three speed manual transmission. Both operate well as originally designed• The Series 50 rode on a 114” wheelbase which featured semi-eliptical leaf springs and mechanical brakes on all four corners• Special Features: Chrome Bumpers, 4 brand new Firestone 5.50 X 18” tires mounted on painted Kelsey bent spoke wheels, Rear spare tire mount, thermostatically controlled radiator shutters, Dual Horns and dual taillights, Rear seat footrest and grab bar, Hand holds and Rear window shades, fender mounted turn signals, Heater, Adjustable ride shock absorbers, freewheeling Wizard control for clutchless shifting from 2nd to 3rd gears• Exterior presents well with original black paint on a pristine rust free body. Chrome plating has been performed on the front and rear bumpers, Radiator shell, Buick Grille Emblem, Radiator Hood Ornament, Headlight Buckets, Horn Trumpets, Hub Caps and gas cap• Interior is remarkably well preserved with nice all original Mohair Seats, headliner intact and all original handles and hardware. The original top material and supporting wooden slats have been replaced in 2023. All original dashboard gauges are present. A fine example of an early luxury car, it’s no wonder Al Capone was partial to the Buick style. Howard 310-971-5782
