1960 Buick Invicta Additional Info:
This 1960 Buick Invicta 4 Door Hardtop was sold new in Pasadena California and remained with its original lady owner until the early 1990's when she passed away at age 87. The second owner kept the car for a short time and then resold to a collector that drove it sparingly and then put it into storage about 15 years ago until his passing. Since emerging from hibernation it has received brand new Coker bias ply whitewall tires, fully rebuilt and re-cored radiator, new battery, fuel lines and much more as well as a comprehensive detail inside and out to clean and preserve the amazing originality of the car. It has just under 50k original documented miles on the car and comes with a full paper trail back to day one including the original purchase paperwork, temporary tag and every registration slip. Service records as well and even a vintage map were all in the file. The car is a wonderful original survivor that has always been well kept and garaged. The exterior has been resprayed at some point, but everything else on the car including the amazing optional tri-tone vinyl interior, is original and unrestored. The body is shockingly straight and solid with only a few small flaws here and there. There appears to be no body rot or notable rust on the car other than a couple tiny bubbles in the paint (we are talking smaller than a pencil eraser size) on the lower corner of one door and a tiny spot next to the stainless trim around the back window...and thats it. This car is a dreamy solid dry climate survivor. The car runs well and drives nicely. Truly floats like its in the clouds and the power steering is so light and lovely you can steer it with your pinky. Brakes are good, transmission shifts well and engine has plenty of power. The passenger side front window is stuck at the moment and the fuel gauge is not reading the level, I think that is about it as far as issues. Ive only put minimal miles on the car since storage, the longest drive about 25 miles, but it performed beautifully.I have posted many photos here on the listing but have over 100 that I have taken of the car that I can send a link to potential buyers to see. Personal inspection is suggested if possible, the car is being sold as-is with no warranty. I prefer to let the auction takes its course and let the bids set the end value. I do not have a "buy it now" price for the car and I have set the reserve at a very reasonable level. This really is a special car and I hope it finds a very good new home.On Jul-12-19 at 15:51:52 PDT, seller added the following information:

Many have inquired about the interior combination on this car as it is very uncommon. In the 1960 Buick sales brochure entitled " 60 is the year for COLOR in Buick " it shows that this combination was standard in the LeSabre Hardtop, Wagon and Convertible, AND Optional in the 2 door and 4 door Hardtop Invicta.
It is absolutely original to this car and is completely original from the headliner to the carpet and everything in-between.
