1960 Buick Other Additional Info:
I am the 3rd owner of this car. The first owner purchased the car in Muncie, Indiana and the name plate on the car indicates that. He moved to Atlanta and kept the car in the underground garage of a hotel. A employee of the hotel purchased it did some work on the car. I purchased it from him in 2010. I had all the body below the chrome line redone in 2011. The body shop did a wonderful job and it looks as it did when they were done. I had the transmission rebuilt in 2011. The interior is original and there are no cracks on the dash. This is a common problem with these cars. The seats are have the original covers and are covered with plastic. There is one tear in the front seat on the drivers side. The trunk mast is original. I purchased 5 new wide wall radial in 2011. Everything works on the car. It has the mirror dash and the speed-o-meter shown by a red line that increases with speed. It works correctly and is accurate. The car has power steering and power brakes. It has been shown several times at the Charlotte, NC Auto Fair. I have service records for the past 7 years I have owned the car. I always used ethanol free gas and added a lead substitute. When I purchased the car I was told it had 79000 miles on it. That appears correct buy cannot be verified. It has 81103 now. It starts easily and drives very well. There is no visible rust anywhere on the car.
