1947 Buick Super Additional Info:
Wonderful example that looks all stock but has many modern upgrades. An 8 year restoration was completed in 2011 and features a custom built front clip that incorporates rack and pinion power steering, power disc brakes, and new springs and shocks. A 700R4 auto transmission connects to the stock Straight Eight 248ci engine, both of which have been rebuilt.The car was converted to 12V, and an all new wiring harness was installed, utilizing a modern fuse block. Other upgrades include a 1-wire alternator, Optima battery, electric wipers, and the list goes on. 4 new Coker Classic radials were fitted recently, on newly powder coated wheels.
The interior has been completely redone to stock specifications using materials from Hampton Coach. Front and rear bumpers were rechromed, and the factory color of Seine Blue Poly was laid beautifully using modern paint materials.
