1987 Buick Grand National Regal turbo T WE4 Additional Info:

Body on restoration all new upper and lower control arms bushings and upper and lower ball joints. New bump stops,new front sway bar bushings and mount. New front Rotors,brakes,calipers and rubber break hose. This is a real 1987 Buick Regal turbo T with the WE4 package. One of the most rarest turbo regals out there,only 1,547 made and think about how many were made with t-tops and are still alive. This car has t-tops witch is the next best thing to a convertible. Most owners these days only drive them on nice days any way. I don't know if they leak never had the car in the rain I did install all new doors and t-tops weather seals. This is a two owner car that includes me car has never been in an accident and the car report shows it. (Look below for the report) This car is garage kept. Engine is total rebuilt. Can prove it to new owner. Car runs and drives great can take it anywhere. With the new larger radiator and dual fans car stays cool around 170-180 degree no matter how hot it is. Brand new rims and tires. All the upgrades on this car are what most people installed on there turbo Regal. Don't let the upgrades stop you from buying this car. Since engine rebuilt in 2013 engine has 970 miles and I did 220 of them. Car does have 143225 miles. Engine runs great with no problem I do have a receipt for engine rebuilt at a cost of $3000..Transmission was rebuilt few years ago and shifts great. Nothing wrong with drive train at all. Can drive car anywhere with no problem. Starts up and idles great no smoke. Everything works on car both power windows are great power locks works, interior light works,heat works great with new heater core. AC works great. And power antenna works great. Factory tac and boost gauge works great. This is a t-top car perfect for those nice days. All new t-top and door weather seals. This car has a lot of upgrades this is a 30 year old car and has all the right upgrades. Car has all new body bushings and the GNX bushing. Under body has no rust I did undercoat the chassis with eastwoods chassis rust encapsulator and then painted it over with eastwoods chassis gloss black paint looks great. There is two small rust holes in back of trunk one on each side I treated the rust holes with rust encapsulator.
The WE4 (Turbo T) package was offered in Buick's 1987 regals. On November 11, 1986 the dealerships were notified of the change. It was to be offered as a car that is similar in appearance to the Grand National, but lighter in weight. So in theory the WE4 is faster. There were only 1,547 of these cars made compared to the 20,194 Grand Nationals that were made in 1987.
The WE4 was simply a Grand National, with some changes. The spoiler was not an option that was included with the package, it could only be ordered as a dealer installed option. The wheels were changed from the steel GN wheels to the aluminum 'T' wheels. The interior was now all gray. It is said that the bumper braces were aluminum instead of the GN's steel braces. Lastly, the WE4 came with 'T' badging.
I bought the car from the oringinal owner about 9 months ago he was 80 years of old. He had a lot of work done in the past couple of years. Total paint job with both new door skins and all new bumper fillers and a lot more. The paint job with all new bumper fillers and door skins and more cost over $17,000. car has the scanmaster, headers, 3 inch down pipe, performance catalytic converter. 3 inch stainless steel dual exhaust. Front mounted large 3 inch intercooler. External transmission cooler. Vacuum brake booster Just been updated.
I have only driven the car little over 200 miles since I bought it. Most of the new parts listed below has little over 200 miles on them. Have big stack of most new receipt most parts I bought were from Kirban's and gbodyparts.com and have many old recent from original owner. Also have big GM dealership books about the car and what ever spare parts I have.
Engine was rebuild in November 25,2013 with a double timming chain. engine block and tranny are original to car.
Transmission was rebuild a few years ago that's what I was told by owner before me.

Some bad things, paint does have some bubbles under the paint some chips and scratches in paint. driver side door hinge was replace but door received some chips in the paint. Speddomontaor seems stuck or just not working.
