1938 Buick Special 4 door 40 series
An original survivor 3 owner car Documented approx. 54,000 original miles
Car was mechanically restored, brakes fuel system, cooling system, engine overhaul, tires etc. by original family in 2005 parade only since then, drives great, runs starts and brakes great, original green paint touched up some here and there, just installed new sealed bearing water pump and added new fog lights. Doors close like new, windows are aged and have a few cracks, heater works, speeds works although needle just fell off the other day, all gauges work except fuel gauge, all lights and dash lights work, clock occasionally works, radio turns on and lights up but no sound, parking brake works, steers nice and tight, wipers work. Very little rust just under trunk lid roll pan. Really no dents or rust on body. Bought this to restore and have been just driving it around for fun, almost would be a shame to restore it. So I have decided to offer as is.
Has original owners manual and repair receipts from 2005, history of original owner whose name is in the ivory map light, was a GM engineer. Kind of neat! Stored in heated hanger.
