For sale is a 1940 Buick Super Eight that was frame-off restored in 2011, will come with restoration pictures and all the original receipts totaling more than $30,000. It has an original 248ci Fireball inline 8 cylinder engine with a column shift 3 speed manual transmission, and 4 wheel drum brakes. The car runs and drives excellent, no issues! Very quiet and stable engine idle, transmission shifts great with a very responsive clutch, rides very smooth.
The restoration was a complete frame off restoration with new paint and undercoating, totally new interior including carpet and headliner with receipts for over $10,000, receipts for over $9200 in restored chrome trim grille and bumpers, all new rubber gaskets/weather-stripping/grommets, radio conversion done to updated electronics and new wiring for car, refreshed engine and exhaust, new fuel system with electric pump and new tank, new brakes and wheel bearings, new QA1 rear shocks, and new white wall tires.
