Up for sale is a 1963 Buick LeSabre with desirable options including power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission and a matching numbers 401 Wildcat engine. The engine runs good with no smoke or unusual noises and the transmission shifts as it should. Vehicle starts, stops, runs and drives. Doors, hood & trunk open and close, windows roll up and down, all lights, wipers, blinkers, blower motor, radio, etc. operate properly. All glass appears to be original and in good condition with no cracks. All trim is present and in good condition, with the exception of the right headlight bezel which has some pitting.Vehicle has new spark plugs & spark plug wires, new radiator hoses, new master cylinder, fresh brake fluid, fresh oil & filter, fresh transmission fluid and fresh coolant. Vehicle has been sitting for more than 15 years and should have a full mechanical inspection before being driven on the road. Carburetor and brakes may need to be adjusted. Floors are in excellent condition with no visible rust through, truck pan has surface rust but no rust through, lower outer door skins are soft and hood also has a small amount of rust. See pictures for condition. Overall a very cool car to enjoy as is or drive it while you fix it up. Would make excellent cruiser to bring the kids for ice cream or pile your friends in and head to the beach. Vehicle is being offered at no reserve. Clear NC title ready to transfer to the new owner.
I acquired this car from the grandson of the original owner. He stated that his grandmother purchased the car new in Louisburg, NC where it was kept at her vacation home which she visited twice per year. The car was only driven during her visits and was stored in the garage for the remainder of the year. When she passed away in 1994 he acquired the car with intentions of driving it. Unfortunately the car brought back memories of his grandmother and it sat until 2000 when it was registered and driven several times before being parked for good. The car was then stored outside under a tarp until 2016. He claims that the mileage shown is original but I have no documentation to prove or disprove his claim. It would be an amazing story if true, but again I cannot confirm that it is.
