1972 Buick Electra 225 Custom Additional Info:

Up for sale is a beautiful 1972 Buick Electra 225 Custom. This car drives like a dream. I have only owned this car for 4 months. I am only selling it because it is just not practical for me. I find it too large to drive in this crazy Dallas traffic. At 19' long, it also does not fit in my garage and it deserves to be garaged. It has been covered in bad weather with a sealskin cover (included).
Interior of the car is flawless. Dash is perfect with no cracks. A/C vents are intact with no breakage. Power windows, power front bench seat, & power door locks all work. Cruise control works, although not smoothly. Does need new window tint. Front driver side tint had been removed and residue is left behind. Also needs new weather stripping around all 4 windows. Original AM/FM radio works. Sound only comes out of the right channel. I have not investigated to see if it is a wiring issue. Has all 4 floor mats. Cigarette lighters still work. Comes with optional use shoulder straps.
Car may have been repainted at some point. There is a pic of a few paint cracks on the side of the hood. Interior of trunk and hood have definitely not been repainted. There is still a lifetime battery warranty sticker under the trunk from the original owner. Black paint really shines in the sun. Absolutely no body damage except for a few tiny hail dents on the hood. I was unable to photograph them as they are very shallow and hard to see. No tears in the vinyl roof. Protective cardboard walls in trunk are all intact. All 4 tires and the full size spare are less than 6 months old. A/C works but doesn't blow real cold.
When the engine is cold and has not been started in a few days, it just takes a couple of pumps of the gas. When the engine is warm, it fires right up with a quick turn of the key. Car runs and drives very smooth. I have cruised on the highway at 80 with no problems at all. It is like floating on a cloud. Does not leak any fluids as I park it in the same spot and have seen nothing in 4 months. 455 engine is very strong. Step on the gas and there is no hesitation in the pick up. With no pillars and all windows down, it makes for a nice drive in the country.
Again, I love the car, it is just not practical for me at this time. I need something that is not quite the size of a boat. If you have any questions, I will do my best answer. Clear title in hand. Car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the sale at any time.
