Thank you very much for your patience up to this point. Up for consideration is my very original and beautiful 1973 Buick Riviera. 1973 marked the last year for the iconic boat tail design for the 1971, 1972, and 1973 Rivieras. The 1973 model year was also the most luxurious rendition, with a plusher ride and very beautifully upholstered interiors. This car was built in Flint Michigan and was a one owner car in Green Bay WI for most of its life. I am the second owner.
This Riviera is triple burgundy with its original and gorgeous Oxblood burgundy interior. It has done 96,250 miles as of this writing and looks just about brand new inside and out. The body is straight and rust-free and the paint still shines beautifully. The interior can’t really be any better than it is. It is all original and just beautiful, showing virtually no wear anywhere. The vinyl has a deep shine to it and even the original shag carpet is clean and wear-free. It has all four original Buick logo floor mats as well.
The drivetrain is all original, never rebuilt, and is mechanically sound. It has the original 455 V8 with the original Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor. Since I've owned the car, I've installed various new parts to ensure the vehicle is reliable and roadworthy. I love driving classics and any car I own just gets better the longer I own it. It features:
-New distributor with Pertronix Ignitor electronic ignition, no more breaker points to adjust ever again
-Brand new fuel tank, fuel sending unit, and fuel pump
-Four new white wall tires
-Complete new dual exhaust system from the manifolds back, all professionally installed at Exhaust Pros right here in Madison WI
This car has been looked over and serviced and is turn-key ready. I would trust it to drive anywhere.
The suspension is all original, even original shocks, so the car rides like a 1973 Buick. And that means a healthy and enjoyable combination of luxury and muscle car. The car tracks straight and true, no vibration or drama at any speed. It's smooth, powerful, and very quiet on the highway. The brakes are spot on and require no service. No pulling or undesirable shakes or shimmies.
This car has power windows and power driver seat that all work great. All the exterior and interior lights work perfectly. The windshield wipers and horn work great. The heater works very nicely. The car has cruise control and AC, but at this time they do not function although all the original AC equipment is in place. All dash gauges work perfectly.
I am a private seller and the car is located in Madison WI. I am looking to sell this classic to somebody who will truly appreciate it for what it is.
