I am Jerry and I am downsizing so some great cars must leave the flock, this is one of them.
1973 Buick Centurion Convertible - Meticulously owned, original perfect convertible top, loaded.
A pretty rare find! DO YOUR HOMEWORK on these cars if you are not familiar. They are SCARCE and desirable. A Great tour car with comforts. This is a A A C A show worthy Car !!!! It's been a super cruise nite car and a wonderful drive for just fun. I had one in 1975 and loved it and looked for 20 years for a good one to no avail. But this car finally sold me. There's very little to dislike about an A color combo and all these options. These are Very underratedcars and will go up and upsimply because they were sharp cars from day 1 and fast. you wouldn't drive this 455 buick and then choose a Cadillac Eldo of the same vintage.
With movie star looks. This one was the exception, a never hit car that basically has no damages, a show worthy car. The paint is 85% all factory original.One blend on lf side top quarter panel should be re done but the rest of the paint is nice survivor quality. The air cleaner, valve covers and inner fenders are typical of a low mileageoften cleaned motor - Some surface rust has formed due to the lack of dirt and oil spray typical of the garden variety high mileagecars. Easy fix to bring those finishes back to new.
The chrome is magnificent and the interior is nearly flawless original, as are the carpets. The top is original and still looks nearly new. This car has true 55 k miles which is hard to find. It has the window sticker showing all the options including the high performance 455 engine, the a/c is cold and it drives as new.
The hard boot is in the felt bag from factory in the trunk. The burgundy metallic firemist paint and tan 2 tone interior makes the car very sharp, along with the tan top, it has a sporty look with class and elegance. That is who bought these cars when new, wealthy people who were Eldorado shoppers, however, if a Eldo buyer went to see the Buick and drove one, they never went back to Cadillac. These are rear wheel drive, they are nimble and do everything right.
This is a candidate for A A C A judging and a walk in the park for the preservation award in the
H P O F Class. A wonderful driver that looks fantastic and a cruise nite/ show car that you will love thiscar. I would never sell, if I had space to keep this car. I will surely miss the car and you will be very happy with it
