This is a RARE replica of a pre-war Bugatti inspired Moonraker from the Dri-Sleeve Car Company in Warminster, Wiltshire, UK. The company existed for only one year, 1971. They produced only six vehicles and then closed their doors due to the introduction of VAT. This vehicle is the sixth and last example ever to be made. This car is number 6 of 6 and the only one in the United States. The original owner commissioned the car to be made on Oct. 11, 1971 and took delivery in the Spring of 1972. Because the company was closing, he was able to get the original blue prints, assembly line photos of the car being made and other paper work for the car. The car was stored away for many years. The second owner purchased it in the mid 90s and he too stored it away, only driving it a few miles a year. The car has only traveled about 650 total miles since new.
