1969 Bugatti Other Additional Info:
After alot of thought and indecision we are going to sell our Bugatti replica. We purchased this after the motor was completely rebuilt and have enjoyed it for date night and getting ice cream. I have driven and showed it some local shows and honestly the car always gets much attention. This is a Type 35 kit built on a 1969 VW Beatle. As such the car is not required for emissions here in Arizona nor many other states. It has very throaty trumpet pipes on it and is excellent sounding when you excellerate. The engine starts first turn of the key everytime and the transmission shifts perfectly and smooth. Gauges work as they should and yes the parking brake works and is fully functional. The previous owner added the 3rd brake light and had done the brakes and motor as it was believed they were the original. Car is quick and fun to drive. THere maybe small imperfections or something other than the horn not working but as I know of nothing major. Only issue the car will need addressed is tires. They are starting to show some sidewall age and as such they will need to be replaced in the near future. They do not leak air or anything but I just want to be honest to the buyer. Car is very nice and is so much fun to tootle around in. We are going to step up and buy a vette for longer trips so someone is going to make a great buy as I an not going to mess around for along time selling. I am going to start a very low "no reserve" auction and let it go. I am going to reserve the right to stop auction if no bids have been made and someone would like to make an acceptable offer. After bids have been made the auction will run til sold. I will not stop it....fair is fair and I hope you agree. I am happy to store for awhile and help with meeting shipper but shipping is the buyers liability. Good luck and God Bless!!
