1983 BMW 3-Series Additional Info:

For sale is a 1983 BMW e21 320is. This beautiful and fun driver is an ORIGINAL SURVIVOR! These are very hard to find today in any condition as only 2500 were produced in its three year run. Most have been altered, scrapped for parts or rusted out. To find an unmolested original is very rare.

This car is not a project car. This is a car that can be driven while being restored. It drives and handles great. This car needs cosmetics and a few minor odds and ends. It has all the” IS” options except the front air dam. These are all highly desirable parts.

This Hennarot gem has spent most of the last 15 years in a garage and it shows. There is very little rust and all of appears to be surface rust. The body is very solid and the only faults are the dings and scrapes of being 33 years old. The paint is original.

I have gone through the mechanics and have repaired, replaced and upgraded everything that needed same. The cooling system, exhaust, brakes, plug/wires and suspension has been addressed. It reall, really drives great. It is peppy and shifts great. The Toyo tires have a lot of life left.

The interior is original except for the stereo and speakers. The Recaros will need attention but are in overall drivable condition. The dash as numerous cracks and the headliner is tired. The windshield has chips. No a/c. The turn signals and fog lights will need attention as well. Everything else appears to be in good working condition.

Overall this is a GREAT opportunity to own one of the rarest 3 series made that needs very little and can be driven home. This is as fun as a 02 but at half the price and more scarce.

I have priced this far below true value as I am moving and have four other classic BMWs and can't take them all.

This car is also for sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold as is with no warranty given or implied in anyway. You are more than welcome to have this car inspected anyway you want before end of auction. If you make an offer and I accept your offer then you have bought it.
