Pleased to present this amazing survivor 1984 E24 BMW 633csi, the last year of the 633csi. Finished in Bahama Beige Metallic with tan/black interior. Equippedwith the highly desirable5 speed manual transmission. Vehicle was optioned with factory M front air dam with fog lights and also the rear M spoiler mounted on the trunk.
Vehicle is in excellent condition inside and out. Vehicle is a true California car. It was originally purchased in Santa Rosa, California, and has remained and been enjoyed by the same family for over 41 years. Vehicle has been meticulously maintained and cared for over the years. Very proud to say that the vehicle is showcasing the original paint from the factory. The vehicle has been garaged its whole life. That is evident from the amazingly well preserved deep glossy paint, the trim around the entire vehicle is still in excellent shape and has so much luster and shine for 42 years old. The vehicle has never been into any kind of accident, nor has any of the body panels ever been removed since the vehicle was assembled at the BMW factory. The extremely straightand even body panel gaps are all testaments of the vehicle's past. Vehicle will come with a clean Carfax report showing no accidents and or any mileage discrepancies. The vehicle has been enjoyed on average less than 4k a year. The current mileage is at 165k.
Vehicle Exterior
Very rare to find one in this amazing well preserved condition. All thanks to the fact that the vehicle has been garaged its entire life. The original Bahama Beige Metallic paint holds its deep luster and metallic crystals inside the paint, truly sparkles and comesalive in the sunlight. The polished trim work around the windows are in excellent condition and shine amazingly well for being 42 years old. The same can be said about the polished trim on the bumpers. All the surrounding rubber pieces feel fresh to the touch and have a nice dark black color to them, they have not been damaged or discolored by the harmful UV rays of the sun for long periods. The vehicle still holds all of its original glass, including the windshield. Please reference the images where you will find the BMW glass manufacturer name "Delodur" stamped on all 6 glass pieces on the vehicle.
All the glass around the vehicle is in excellent condition and free from any cracks or noticeable damage. Because the vehicle has been garaged itswhole life, all the plastic coverlights like the rear lights, front and rear bumper reflectors and front turn signals have their nice luster to them and original deep colors on the red and amber. They are free from spyder cracks or over discoloration and deterioration that happens when they are exposed to the natural elements too long. All lights on the vehicle function and operate as they should including the fog lights as well.
Overall, the body is in amazing well preserved condition. Free from any major scratch, dent, or damage.
Suspension & Wheels and Tires
While the vehicle remains in as original condition as possible, a few tastefulyet very enjoyable upgrades have been made. This E24 classic has been installed with H&R lowering springs (Made in Germany) and also upgraded performance shocks. All of the bushings have gone through on this vehicle. You will not hear any unnecessarynoises coming from the suspension, it rides extremely smooth and planted when being enjoyed going through a nice canyon road. The vehicle touches grounds on the iconic and authentic BBS RK007 wheels measuring 16x8 on all four corners with a 15mm offset. The wheels are wrapped with brand new Yokohama Advan AO52 tires in the 245/45/16 size. (used only for 200 miles) They are a perfect fit as they do not require any spacers and or adapters. They provide such an enjoyable ride and keep the car planted while going through the turns. Last but not least, paired with the stance of the suspension and the BBS wheels, this BMW is the gentlemen's E24 that you can take to a car show and win an award, then enjoy the ride home on your favorite driving roads. This E24 will allow you to enjoy both, it is a very well sorted example that ;makes you addicted to driving it as much as you can.
Vehicle Interior
The interior much like the exteriorhas been extremely well preserved due to its garaged nature. Very rare to find an original example with the dash perfectlyclean and free from any cracks. Amazing to look at and touch, if you have owned or are familiarwith the E24 chassis, this is major plus. The leather wrapped steering wheel is in excellent condition. Feels very smooth to the touch and free from any sperations or cracking. The same can be said for the original leather wrapped shifter. Between the steering wheel and shifter, you feel like you are drivingalmost a brand new E24. All of the seats are in very good to excellent condition. They are free from any rips, tears, or major damage. They are still soft to the touch and feel like they have many good years left in them. The door panels are in excellent condition, also free from any cracks or major damage. The carpet portion on the door panels are fresh to the touch and very clean. The floor matts are in almost new condition considering that the original owners had saved them and used another BMW floor matt. The headliner is in great shape and free from any shagging, tears, stains, or major damage. All of the printed writing throughout the interior which includes the dash and center console are in excellent shape. They are very clean and vibrant, and fresh.
The vehicle has been upgraded with a AplineCD player / AM/FM radio. The vehicle has also had its speakers upgraded to correspond to the new head unit. The unit works perfectly and the antenna operates up and down with the power on and off radio function. All of the interior lights work and function as they should. The Air Condition system works flawlessly and cools very well. You are able to enjoy the car in sunny southern California weather with ease.
Engine/ Transmission/ Mechanical
The powertrain of this vehicle has been meticulously maintained from day one. The engine runs extremelysmooth and strong. Always starts on the first crank. The engine operates very smoothly throughout the RPM range. The engine bay is extremely clean and free from any oil leaks or anything else out of the ordinary. The 5 speed transmission shifts into every gear smoothly. The clutch feels good and engaged as it should. It delivers the power without any lossof power or slippage. The engine runs healthy and cool as it never passes the middle mark for the temperature gauge, even on spiriteddrives.
