BMW 1800ti Neue Klasse

1965 BMW 1800ti Additional Info:

The car was manufactured on June 14th1965 and delivered to the US on July 13th 1965. Original color was Derby paint code 056.Was painted Polaris silver by the original owner. The car has a clean title in my name.

Brakes:

New brake master cylinder

Rebuilt front brake calipers with new pads

Front brake rotors turned

New rear brake drums with new shoes

New rear brake cylinders

New flex lines front and rear

New trailing arm hard brake lines

Transmission:

New clutch master cylinder

New clutch slave cylinder

New clutch fluid flex hose

New shifter bushings

Fuel system:

Gas tank removed, cleaned, and new lining applied

New fuel hoses

Carburetors cleaned and synchronized

Radiator:

Inspected and flushed

Upper and lower hoses replaced

New coolant

Charging system:

Rebuilt Original Bosch Alternator

New alternator bushings

New alternator belt

New Voltage Regulator

New Battery

New negative cable

Other:

Brand new strut tower mount bushings and bearings

New throttle bushings

New spark plugs

New spark plug wires

New inner & outer tie rods and new center link

Alignment done

New Tires (original spare tire)

All Lights and turn signals work great

Wipers work

Only 1 crack in the dash

Gets pretty good gas mileage

Makes good power, fun to drive

The fuel gauge does not work (needs a new sending unit)

The Oil pressure gauge works sometimes

Horn doesn't work

Will need 4 new shocks

Original Solex 40PHH Carburetors will need to be rebuilt (throttle shafts are worn) makes a popping sound from the exhaust on deceleration

Brake booster has a vacuum leak so I bypassed it

This rare BMW Neue Klasse 1800ti is a very fun car. It's a blast to drive. I've taken it on a few 200 mile round trips. The Solex carburetors need to be rebuilt but I've been driving like that for the past year. No issues other than it makes some popping sound from the exhaust when you decelerate. The interior is in amazing original condition! It gets lots of attention at cars and coffee events. These cars don't come up for sale often. Lots of work has been done to the car but it's not perfect. Low reserve price
