BMW 2002 E10A RARE ONE FAMILY CAR THAT WAS PURCHASED AT LAUREL BMW OF WESTMONT, IL IN 1976 BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER - HE BEQUEATHED IT TO HIS SON WHO OWNED IT FOR THE REMAINING YEARS - YOU CAN TELL THIS CAR WAS LOVED. THE EXTERIOR IS FINISHED IN CHARMONIX WHITE PAINT CODE (085) 2002 TURBO COLOR. ALL THE EXTERIOR CHROME TRIMS ARE ACCOUNTED FOR AND IN SUPRISINGLY NICE CONDITION. THE GLASS IS ORIGINAL BMW ACCEPT PASSENGER WINDOW. THE SEALS ARE ALL WATER TIGHT INCLUDING THE FULLY FUNCTIONING SUNROOF. AT SOME POINT IN TIME IT HAD A REFRESH ANDTHOUGH IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL IN THE PHOTOS WHEN YOU LOOK CLOSER ONE NOTICES THE IMPERFECTIONS A 50 YEAR OLD CAR SHOULD HAVE - THE MORE OBVIOUS BEING THE DRIVERS QUARTER PANEL ALONG WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE ROCKER PANEL AND DRIVERS DOOR SHOWS EVIDENCE OF WORK DONE. BUT THE REMAINDER OF THE BODY IS SOLID. THE WHEEL WELL AND SHOCK TOWERS ARE PERFECT.THE MARINE BLUE (BMW06) INTERIOR IS AMAZING. THERE IS A WEATHERED PATINA ON THE METALS THAT COMES WITH AGE - THE SEATS - NEARLY PERFECT. THE HEATING SYSTEM OPERATES PROPERLY WHICH IS A HUGE BONUS AS THE HEATER CORE VALVE IS OPERATING NORMALLY. ALL THE ACCESSORIES, INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTS, AND SWITCHES WORK AS INTENDED.IT IS ORNERY STARTING BUT ONCE IT CATCHES IT RUNS AND PERFORMS WELL - I LIKE TO EXERCISE IT REGULARLY
