There are a number of folks in Southern California who KNOW this car well. "Geld Loch" has some fans.
Take a European E30 323 with its wonderful Euro cloth Recaro seats, manual windup windows and manual sunroof, drop in a fresh 300 mile 3.5 liter with machine and head work by Bimmerheads, add front and rear E30 M3 subframes, suspension and brakes, all matched to the cars original 5 speed manual gearbox and you've one VERY, VERY potent sleeper of an E30 !
This fantastic E30 starts, runs and drives perfectly. The car starts instantly cold and warm. Clutch take-up is both chatter and slip free. Brake pedal modulation and feel is perfect. The car tracks dead straight, there is no steering play. I have had the good fortune to have raced a very nicely prepared E30 a few years back and though this car has not seen a race track, I can't imagine the fun, really not.....
The cars interior is stock with the exception of a non stock radio and Hartg steering wheel. There is remarkably little wear, in fact, far less than one would normally expect. Please note: there is no AC and just to put it out there... California emissions.... I think not.
The car has NO rust and with the exception of the hood, the paint on the car appears to be original., paint meter readings indicate same. There is absolutely NO sign of any previous damage to the car, none.
E30's are "hot", finding a VERY nice rust free and undamaged example is becoming difficult. Finding one this nice and built THIS well...... there just ain't none ! Happy biding. Fly in to Spokane and drive her home, airport pick up is available and just minutes away.
