1970 BMW 2002 driver restoration project

1970 BMW 2002 Additional Info:

1970 BMW 2002. Lots of work and new parts. Rebuilt motor, with 89mm Mahle pistons, Elgin Semi-race cam. Cylinder head is from '78 e21 for the bigger valves and ports with a fresh valve job. the exhaust manifold and intake manifold are from a later '02, also for the bigger ports. The carb is a new Weber 38 DGES. A electric fuel pump was added along with a new fuel line from the tank to the carb. For better cooling a new Champion 2 row Aluminum radiator, electric fan and adjustable control were fitted to the car. Trans is the stock 4 speed manual. More about the car, the heater box is currently by-passed and will need some work. The suspension has no leaking struts or shocks Brakes are good and recently flushed and bled with DOT 4 fluid The car was sitting in the sun for a number of years, the interior will need work. Seats, carpet,dash, headliner. ect. there is a center console, but it is not complete The only rust is shown in the pics, some on the rocker panels, some on rear wheel arches and some on the trunk lid. Doors have some surface rust, but no rust on the bottoms.Shock towers, subframe mounts and front suspension are rust free. All the stock parts that were replaced with upgrades come with the car. these include Air cleaner, carb, fuel pump, cylinder head, intake and exhaust manifolds. Comes with 4 new tires mounted on the stock steel wheels New parts on the car, Piston rings, Rod and main bearings, gaskets, cylinder head w/ fresh valve job.intake and exhaust manifold, Weber 38 DGES carb, electric fuel pump, fuel line from tank to carb,4 new tires, front strut mounts,Alternator bushings on mount, Champion 2 row Alum rad,electric fan, adjustable control, coolant hoses, there's probably a few more new items I've overlooked.
