1986 BMW 3-Series Additional Info:
Car is in great condition for the year. I purchased it 4 years ago from the original owner. Original owner kept vehicle garaged and it was his "Sunday Car". Not sure of all the details about the "M Trim" but original owner says it was just a trim package with the rear spoile, type of seats and later he added the steering wheel. Before selling it to me he had done a lot of maintenance including new injectors, gaskets, water pump, timing belt and AC compressor.
After purchasing the car I added the wheels, HID Lights with the Smiley headlights and upgraded the radio. I have also kept the car garage since I purchased it. I've probably put about 2500 miles over the 4 years I've owned it as I have other vehicles I spread my time across that I use including another convertible E30 which I will also be listing for sale soon. I just don't have the time to enjoy the cars like I used to anymore.
Interior is in great condition with only wear on the driver's side seat bolster. Carpeting is fresh and crisp. It has new Alpina mats and a fresh battery with a cutoff switch. Also have the original fob for the OEM alarm that was installed from the dealer when originally purchased. All windows and sunroof work.
Also added is an air ride suspension system, approx $2,800.00. Compressor is located in the spare tire well and air tank in the trunk. It is a 2 switch system. One for the back wheels and one for the front wheels.
Exterior is free of any scratches or dings and was repainted in 2012. Wheels are mint with no curb rash and fresh new tires.
AC doesn't work, not sure if it needs a charge or has another issue as I've always just used the car with the windows down, top open and rear windows popped. When I took it out this afternoon for a spin I noticed the brake pedal felt a bit spongy but car still stops. Odometer has frozen at 178,XXX.
Car runs strong and shifts smoothly.
Car is ready to enjoy with the following upgrades and add-ons totaling to almost $6,000:
Wheel & Tire Setup $1,200
Air Ride System $2,800
HID Headlights Smiley Headlight Housing & Tail Light Upgrade $600
Radio & Amplifier $500
I have clear title on hand
