1986 BMW 3-Series es Additional Info:

Well, It is time for me to let go of one of my most beloved cars. My 325es is on the auction block for a single reason, I need to raise capital to start a business. I have owned this car for the last 5 years and it has been my primary daily driver. This car gets looks and thumbs ups everywhere. It is after all the car that made BMW what it is today. This car is black with red interior and has factory option BBS RS 003 wheels, all of which are date coded 02-85. The dashboard is crack free, and the upholstery shows well. It is dirty in these pictures as I had not intended to sell this car yet, but I listed my VW Bus I have had for 26 years and decided I should let this one run too. This car is not perfect, but is a straight, rust free, desirable model with excellent pieces. This car is 32 years old and has some items that will need to be addressed, here are the ones I am currently aware of:
  • passenger window is inoperative, may just be a switch.
  • sunroof motor gear is stripped. the sunroof does open and close properly with the manual allen wrench.
  • blower motor is inoperative, so I can not test the a/c system currently.
  • odometer is inoperative, it stop at 91,xxx miles, true mileage is unknown.
  • windshield wiper linkage needs work. The last time I drove this car, the passenger wiper arm would not work, so I removed it.
  • the rear seat leather is very dry and needs conditioning before you go putting passengers back there.
  • Roof paint is oxidized and will need a good detail guy to polish it back to a mirror shine.
  • The good news is, this car is rust free and straight. The interior presents nice, and a coat of wax will make this car shine. If you price out the BBS wheels, crack free dash, Cardinal Interior, 13 button info cluster, and some of the other unique bits, this car should fetch $10,000! I'm not greedy, and only hope to see about half of that. I also have a Super ETA conversion set up with everything you need to perform the swap except the 7,000 rpm instrument cluster, and head gasket set. If you are interested in that, I can pack it up with the car. This car runs and drives as it should currently, so did with confidence after you have read this ad, and as always, if you need any questions answered, please contact me.
