Many modifications. Engine rebuilt with shaved head maybe 30k ago.
3 boxes of parts, 2 extra complete air research turbo, one extra turbo core that is shot.
Extra head, looks cracked but was told it was good.
Many take offs from junkyards. Relays, sensors, switches, just extras.
Injectors serviced yesterday. With new heat shields. Many other used but good injectors.
Newish upgraded injection pump,
Garrett ball bearing VGT turbo, spools at about 2200 rpm.
intercooler and newish radiator.
Boost proportional Propane injection. Maybe 400 foot pounds torque.
Upgraded brakes.
Slightly lowered with Bilstien shocks
Ties pretty good.
The bad.
One piston skirt is worn out pretty bad. It sounds like a rod knock, but to a keen ear it doesn't fit all the symptoms. I measured the clearances in the bottom end they are well and bearings were replaced. I've driven a few cars with skirt issues, it just makes noise as far as I've known.
The fix is pretty simple, the pan can be removed while in the car. Pop a piston and rod out, replace.
Front windshield seal is coming off in a corner. looks like water could get in there.
Sunroof broke out... big bummer, but I cut a lexan replacement, i have and will include some special tape for it, I would say replace the tape every year or so. I just pop the sunroof out when I drive the car.
