1991 BMW 535i - 5 SPEED, 51K Original Miles

Up for auction: 1991 535i - 5 speed with 51,00 ORIGINAL miles
I bought this car a few years ago out of pure nostalgia - my favorite car I've ever owned was a 1990 535i that was totaled in an accident many years ago. When I saw this car for sale with only 43,000 miles, I had to have it.
I had it shipped from Virginia, and made a number of upgrades: replaced the on board computer, replaced the transmission, shocks and more (I have most of these service records). I put many thousands of dollars into this car which I know I will never get out, but that's where nostalgia will get you.
Anyway, on to the car. I'll post pros and cons: I'm guessing this car will end up with a fellow BMW enthusiast, so total transparency here:
PROS:
Only 51,600 miles!Mechanically sound - drives smooth, shifts smooth, clutch has great takeup and shifts easily.Everything works: all windows, sunroof, climate, radio.Little things work: Glovebox works, seat cables replaced, seat warmers work. New tiresThis can easily be your daily driver without issue.
CONS:A few dings and scrapes. Paint is good, but needs some elbow grease to restore lusterInterior needs a little love: Although I had the headliner redone, the seats have a couple of splits (but no tears), the door cards need some TLC, but overall the interior is in good shape. Carpets are good, seats look good, dash looks good, and the wood is in great shape.
This is a very cool car that has been cared for, and to find one with this low mileage is rare. The reserve is reasonable for what I've done with the car, and I hope it finds a great home. Let me know if you have any questions, will try to provide as much info as possible.
