1949 Bentley Mark VI 4 Dr. Saloon, Same Owner 45 Years

4 1⁄4-litre used an F-head straight-6 engine 4.3 L with a four speed manual transmission. Only 4000 of these cars were produced between 1946-1951. The Mark VI was introduced at a time of steel shortage across Europe which translated into a serious shortage of new cars for sale on the UK market. Since they were harder to come by, the vehicles value went up in the last years of production even on the older models.

This model is right hand drive and features rear hinged "suicide" doors at the front with concealed hinges and a sliding sunroof.

This would be a great restoration project for any Bentley enthusiast. It has been repainted over 35 years ago and has garage sat since then it was at that time that it was apart. It looks like most parts are present to complete the project with few parts to be found.

Bentley Mark VI could bring and upwards of 100k fully restored concours condition.

The prior owner paid $7,500.00 in 1973 for the car. It has been in dry covered storage the entire time.
