1951 Bentley Mark VI Additional Info:
Here is a 1951 Bentley Mark VI in beautiful Touring Condition. This is a Standard Steel Salon that started life in her Majesty's Service in Switzerland and had been shipped for Royal use to Los Angeles and New York. It has been loved & cared for here in Colorado for the past 12 years. It has been serviced by Ferrari of Denver, the local Bentley dealer, and driven with total admiration by it's owner until his unexpected passing just a few months ago. I have been asked to assist in the sale of this wonderful car by the estate. Before it's Colorado life it was in Florida for 25 years with the prior owner, which attest to the fact that this car becomes family in short order. It has a smooth, quiet, 6 cylinder (4.26 l), mated to a very easy to shift 4 speed transmission. It was built by Rolls Royce and is similar to the Silver Dawn. While in Florida it was given new tan leather seats in the front, all the chrome was redone and new carpets and headliner were installed. It has a sun roof, back seat trays, all the original tools, & jack. There is some orange peel in the paint and small cracks in the wood on the window moldings and dash. It has a centralized system to lubricate the chassis by foot operated pump and reservoir on the dashboard. Independent front suspension to open helical springs. Just a couple years ago it was fitted with new Coker Radials and driven without issue on tour to New Mexico.
Please study the photos and ask questions if needed. I will try to answer as best I can, the car is here in Centennial CO at my home and the buyer will need to arrange pickup and/or shipping. I will be happy to assist with loading. A $2000.00 deposit via PayPal will be expected within 48 hours of auction close. Payment in full will be required before the car leaves current storage and the title is released.
Cash, Certified Bank check, or Direct Deposit only.
Please Note---the car is a 1951--although the plates on it are 1948.
