1967 Austin Healey 3000 Additional Info:
*1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 is the last of the “Big Healey”. With its inline 6-cylinder and 3-liter motor producing 150hp mated to a factory overdrive transmission*
The BJ8 is the most powerful and luxurious of the big Healey’s with roll-up windows and walnut veneer dash. I originally purchased this Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 from Los Angeles, California. When purchased, the vehicle was in running and driving condition with a new restored engine. The previous owner told me that this car was originally from California. During summer I took the car for a drive several times to keep it in its running condition. Currently the condition of the car is that the engine runs very well and is very powerful but the engine does need some cosmetics work. The brakes on the car are in working condition but the only issue is the clutch cylinder system. I believe the clutch cylinder system needs to be bled to release the air from the system. Due to this issue, I’m currently not operating the vehicle.
The body of the car needs some work. The frame of the car is in good shape and does not have any rusting but looks oily. As you see in the photos, it needs lower rear fender repairs and lower front fender repairs. Repair panels are included. The trunk needs a new floor panel which the old one has been removed already. The windshield of the car has cracks. The interior, tires and the rims of the car are not in show condition but they are usable. The paint on the outside of the car is not in good condition and needs a new paint job. The vinyl top on the car has some holes as you see in the pictures.
Includes the following:~A new exhaust system will be included with the purchase of the car. Value of the exhaust can be checked at Moss Motors.~Miscellaneous parts of the car will be included with the car in a small box. See Photo~New battery to start the car.~Repair panels. See Photo
