1967 Austin Healey 3000 Additional Info:

Offering a 1967 Austin Healey 3000 Mk III Late Model (believed to be the last of 1500 produced). It was reported that a frame off restoration took place in 2012 including the engine and carburetors as well. Suspension, bushing, hydraulic lines etc. appear in very good condition.
The original matching numbers transmission (gearbox16097) is included with the sale and did have some issues. I decided to have it replaced with an American Powertrain aka (The Driven Man) 5 speed designed to fit the Austin Healey. 5th gear or O/D is 0.63 for higher cruising speed and lower RPM's. Buyer would be responsible for transportation of the original gearbox if it was desired (Prior to the swap out I was told that the gearbox was working again, sliders were put back in the correct position).
The original 2.9L inline-6 engine runs strong with no issues.
The paint is Golden Sand Metallic and is as close to the original Metallic Golden Beige as you can get today. The paint is in near perfect condition with only a few minor blips. I did notice a small nick on the left side just forward of the door under the windshield area (see picture).
Disc front brakes with discs being drilled and slotted. Rear drum brakes. DOT 4 break fluid.
Gauges in working order, toggle switches (except electric O/D switch disconnected) and lights working, battery strong.
Chrome in excellent condition including 60 spoke chrome rims. Stainless steel exhaust system.
The original factory radiator also comes with the car)but was replaced with a more efficient Wizard Cooling radiator made for the Healey due to the Arizona summer temperatures.
