1957 Austin Healey 100-6 BN4 (2+2)
This model, the second in the group of three models come to be known as the “Big Healeys” is the best buy around for an Austin Healey. Our example here is a complete Longbridge-built driver’s car in good working order.Sporting the 2639 cc inline six with twin SU carbs it continues to be a wonderful car to drive with plenty of spirit.
A conversion to rack and pinion steering and Bilstein suspension components have been added. These changes do make a tremendous difference to handling and confidence taking corners on the road. The overdrive makes it an excellent road trip car!Convertible top and tonneau are with the car and in very good condition along with new side windows and bag. With just under 6000 built for 1957 model year, it’s a great opportunity up such a rare vehicle and be able to immediately drive it away!
The interior seating and carpet is in very good condition. Both carpet and seating are clean and loo good. The paint does show some age and has some chips in places. The patina on both the interior and exterior of the car is that of one that is driven and enjoyed. It has been repainted at one point in its history and presents as you would expect to see from a survivor. This is car has been refreshed for reliable functionality and safety, is currently registered and driven on a regular basis.
Recently shown at Silverado Resort car show in Napa, California on April 28th of this year it is ready to be driven and enjoyed today!
