1957 Austin Healey 100-6 Additional Info:

1957 Austin Healey 100-6 project car . I bought this with the intention of restoring it toits former glory as I think the Healeys are one of the best looking of the British sports cars.
Unfortunatel, I have too many projects and too little time to realistically finish this car.
I've had other Healey projects all of which were pretty rough with lots of rusted areas. This one is the nicest one have owned as far as rust goes. There is frame repair in thefront frame rails from a past accident. I had planned to do a replacement frame anyway,so that wasn't a problem for me . I believe a good frame shop can do a relatively easy repair
The chassis otherwise is solid. There is the typical truck and floorpan rust. New parts are included
The doors, trunk(boot),hood(shroud)fenders (wings) are solid. A new windscreen and gas tank is included
The engine is a 2.9L replacement as the original had a cracked block. The 4 speed overdrive transmission is original. Rear end is original. All suspension parts are included
Also, included are 6 and 12 port heads and extra SU carbs. Boxes and boxes of parts!!!!
The interior is stripped but seats are in pretty good shape . Instrument panel and instruments are all there.
I apologize for the pictures, but the car is presently stored in my car hauler as I have no roomin my garage . I can get pics of anything upon request but of course its always best to personallyexamine the car

I have a clear title to the car. It is sold "as is" with no warranty of any kind. It is a fullblown project that will take time and money to finish
Please ask any questions before bidding. Also, no trades pleases I have 2 more projectswaiting and need the room for those
The buyer is responsible for shipping costs but I will help in any way possible.
I livein St Louis, MO and would consider delivering the car to any buyer within 300 milesof St Louis for gas costs and a motel room
