Just in time for fall!This is a 1990 Classic Roadsters Sebring MX 3000 based on a 1962 Austin Healey.Similar toAC Cobra, the Sebring MX offers a full top and a little morerefinement. Under the hood of this 2,420-pound car is a 305 Chevrolet V-8 that has a Edelbrock carb & intake combo backed by a T-10 4 speed manual transmission with classic Hurst shifter. Other performance equipment includes disc brakes and coil spring suspension on all four corners. Finishing out thedrive-trainis a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end with3.23
gears. Chrome shorty headers help this Chevy V8 breath into dual2.25-inch
aluminumized pipes exiting through Hooker SuperComp mufflers.Originallymade in 1991, this MX was not first assembled until 2005. Garagedsince built with only 440 miles, this car has spent its entire life inside, and it shows extremely well. I have spent over six thousand ($6000) in parts since my ownership. Afinancial hardship requires me to sell before completion/title/enjoyment. Wheels & Tires:17x8 & 17x9 Coy's WheelsBF Goodrich G-Force Tires (100% new tread)Full disclosure of flaws & items that need attention:- Paint: The original gel coat is in very, very good condition, but it does have three very small spider cracks that are about the size of a half dollar. They have not gotten any bigger since my ownership in 2010. I think they were caused mounting the body to frame.
- Power windows:A new power window kit is included in the sale, but not installed.
- Windshield Wipers:A new windshield wiper kit is included in the sale, but not installed.
- Alignment: After shocks and springs were installed, alignment is off. It will need an alignment.
- Engine: Good oil pressure(45-50 psi oil pressure on start up.) The engine needs to be timed and carbs need final idle set. Engine starts right up, but timing is off.
- Title: This vehicle will need to be inspected and titled in your state. I have the MSO tag that is required to have the title assigned. This is done all the time with Cobras, rat rods, hot rods etc. I have all the paperwork/receipts (see pic) for items purchased in my ownership. I also have an excel spreadsheet of parts that were purchased that I can forward at any time.
