1936 Auburn Speedster Additional Info:
Arguably classic American style and design ended in the late 1930's. Gordon Buering in collaboration with August Dusenberg, under the flag of EL Cord, created an automobile legend in the Auburn Boat Tail Speedster. When it was introduced in 1935 it was a heart pulsing head turner. It gets the same reaction today. I am offering a re-creation of the Auburn Speedster. I am the second owner of the car, which was registered in 1986. I purchased the car in 2003 and the vehicle has been well maintained and has many new replacement parts, including a new intake manifold for a small block V8, tires, starter, aluminum fuel tank, alternator, and several more. All service records are available.
The car is extremely smooth at highway speeds exceeding 70 miles per hour. It was constructed with a rare back seat. The selling price is $40,000.
