Ready for spring and priced to sell!Hard to find original 1964 Rambler American 330 wagon finished in Frost White with nicely restored factory correct interior (carpet, seats, door panels etc). Collector owned and garaged.I love this wagon and it drives like a dream but I recently went overboard at a car auction and my collection needs some thinning out to clear some garage space. This wagon spent its entire life in North Carolina until 2024 and has no rust issues. Two prior long term owners kept the car as a garaged weekend collectible. The second owner bought it in 1991 with 35k miles. In 2002 the third owner acquired the car from a dealer with around 60k miles. The current 71k miles is original and true.1964 was the first year for the third generation Rambler American which introduced significant styling and engineering changes. This wagon has the T35 "flashomatic" 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine is the 123 hp, single carburetor 6-cylinder version.*Engine rebuilt at 56,200 miles (valves resurfaced in 2023)*Transmission rebuilt at 66,375 miles*Interior restored with factory original fabric and materials in 2003* receipts included with recordsThe car now rides on 14" American Racing wheels. Tires are BF Goodrich Touring P185 75R with (2012 date codes) but are in excellent shape showing 80-90% tread. This particular wagon has the very cool roll down tailgate window, working original factory a/c (compressor replaced), original radio, lap belts... even the original chrome under dash tissue box. Excellent factory chrome roof rack. All gauges work but the fuel gauge is not accurate. All glass is excellent, especially the windshield (which may have been replaced at some point). All windows roll up and down as they should. Chrome is very good. Headliner is excellent. The car starts right up and drives like a dream. No smoke or leaks. Brakes are excellent and the car stops true and straight with no pull to either side. Recent battery, tune-up, oil and filter change etc. the freshly rebuilt transmission shifts smoothly with no clunking or hesitation.Nice respray of the original Frost white is about 20 years old and shows nicely. There is one small dent near the right rear of the tailgate and that's the only major body imperfection (see photo).Sold with Factory repair manual, service and repair/rebuild receipts, owners manual and a spare set of keys.Personal inspections are encouraged and welcomed with an appointment. The car is sold as-is/where-is and is garaged in Central Virginia. Drive it home or I am happy to assist with your shipper. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due immediately with the balance paid in three business days. I am happy to answer any questions through the Ebay email portal.Clean Virginia title in seller's name. The car is currently registered, insured and on the road.** Important note to potential buyers: Please be aware that EBAY now forces sellers to list "Caramel" as a payment option.
