1970 American Motors Gremlin

1970 AMC Gremlin Additional Info:

The 1970 American Motors Gremlin was released April 1, 1970 - what you are looking at is a very hard to find 1970 Gremlin - I bought the car mostly as you see it - the wheels are not correct for a 1970 nor are the stripes (I like them myself) - the car is solid underneath, frames, troughs, floors, etc. - I had the seat repaired (broken springs), put in new carpet (badly needed), got rid of the points and went to Pertronix electronic ignition, had the A/C repaired and it works very good - runs, drives, stops fine (as well as a 53 year old car does) - tires have plenty of tread left - I even have the original owners warranty card (been in the glove box for 53 years!!) - this car is well optioned for one of it's time as follows:
- 232 6 cylinder engine (original engine)- automatic transmission- electric wipers- AM radio- Air conditioning- power steering- door buzzer works (when key left in the ignition)- original tire jack included- horn works- lights all work- all glass good- rear window struts work fine- dual tail pipes (sporty!!)- clear title in my name

Defects:- needs oil pan gasket (leaks)- light cracks on passenger side quarter panel (has bondo in it)- light cracks on top of passenger side fender
