1970 AMC Rebel Additional Info:

For starters this is NOT an AMC Rebel Machine. It is a 1970 AMC Rebel SST "Machine Clone". The car was rescued from a salvage yard and was stripped to just the shell. The intent of the entire project was to create the look of a Rebel Machine and used as a driver not a Mecham show car. As such, it is not perfect but a car that has won a few 1st place trophies in local shows!! Now for the details...
The car has the original AMC 360 engine and automatic transmission. I have owned it for nearly 7 years and have about 500 miles on the rebuild. Mechanically, everything has been rebuilt/replaced including all motors, fuel lines, brake lines, pumps, dash to front wiring harness, front to drum disc conversion, upgraded Holley 4 barrel and Edelbrock intake manifold, new windshield and rear glass, etc. The speedo was also rebuilt (It shows 81312 but that is not accurate due to the rebuild) by a licensed professional as was most everything else. In short if it came off the car it was cleaned, rebuilt, or replaced, including re-chroming the bumpers. The radiator was upgraded from the stock 2 core to a full 4 core to help with cooling.
The interior is from Kennedy American/Legendary and is an exact Machine replica. The head liner was re-felted.
YES!...The car does looks as good in person as the pictures show.
The car starts and runs fantastically with no issues I am aware of. I live in south Texas and am selling as I am not driving it as much I thought I would and want to see someone enjoy it. I do have several boxes of miscellaneous parts, pieces of chrome and an extra stripe kit that go along with the sale of the car. I have a clear/clean title and will assist with shipping.
