Hello, up for bids is a hard to find 78 AMC Barcelona II Matador Coupe (BARN FINE). Color of car is Autumn Red Metallic on Claret Metallic, in 78 the final year of the Matador AMC made 2006 coupes and only 396 where Barcelona's do not have a number how many came in the Red combination.Car has a 360 cu in engine, which runs strong with no leaks and not smoking. When purchased the car previous owner told me the transmission was starting to slip. I have'n't done any thing to transmission, when it warms up it will move the car. The body damage is from previous owner who said, transmission slipped out of gear and ran up against tracker,after that they parked it in the barn and left it. Most damage on the left side and there's dent in right front fender. Interior just needs to have the seats redone, have insert design. Seat fabric is still available by a company called SMS auto fabrics, will include in sell of car, samples from company. Headliner is in perfect condition, so is the dash most of these cars the dash would cure up at the edges. Car comes with replacement grill, new Hood ornament, two door pull handles, left side head light bezel, NOS body decals, enough replacement Aztec insert design for seats and door panels alone cost $500, trim rings for wheels, and AM/FM radio.Have photos of what car looked like when i received car from owners barn, who ever wins car gets photos.
