1968 American Motors Corporation AMX, 390, auto, go pack, PDB, PS, A/C, Tilt wheel, AM/FM, and twin grip rear end.
I bought this unmolested/ unmodified car from the original owner in 1988 who lived in Van Nuys, CA and he bought the car new in Ontario/ Riverside CA. It was a California car most of its life, still has the California “pink slip” title, the original CA black plates and the original dealers license plate frames.
The car has been restored with a high quality repaint (in 1993) in the original Rally Green, with no blisters, bubbles, or cracks to be found. Paint is an 8.5-9 out of 10, has a few small chips.
The car has been garaged and covered since 1993. The car had zero rust on it and retains all of its original panels, bumpers, glass, etc. No accidents or fender benders, see pic of the car prior to restoration (have others too).
The original 390 engine, M12 trans, brakes, carb, alternator, etc have been rebuilt to stock specs.
The interior has been restored with new carpet and abs style headliner while still retaining its original door panels, seat belts, sill plates, dash pads and seat inserts.
Bumpers, valve covers, air cleaner lid, breather, tail light & side marker bezels, mirror, emblems, etc have all been rechromed. Crack free taillights and reflector panel.
All gauges work, car has 138,000 miles about 3000 since being rebuilt.
NEW PARTS include BFG radial T/A’s, Edelbrock & KYB shocks, full exhaust system, water pump, belts, master cylinder, carpet, pertronix ignitor, fuel sender, fuel pump, starter, etc.
Also included in the sale is a 5 speed Conversion, that includes: trans (rebuilt World Class T5), bell housing, New Centerforce flywheel, 2 shifters, pedals (already installed), trans mount, z bar, floor tunnel, boot, etc.

Cons:
Crack on passenger side dash pad
Missing valve cover tag (thanks El Monte Chrome..)
A/C components off of car, but do come with it
Chrome is dulling on 3 of the original Magnum 500 wheels
Original sport steering wheel has some cracks
Missing radio antenna (radio works just needs a new speaker) jack and spare
