1993 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Additional Info:
Stunning, low mileage (28,431), 1993 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce beauty. I purchased thisSpider Velocewith 26,792 milesin November 2014 in Miami, FL but did not take possession until February 2015 when it was trucked in an enclosed semi transport to my home in SanDiego, CA.
Prior to shipment, the car was meticulously inspected and completelyserviced by "Luciano", a premier Italian car mechanicat Auto Veloce, Inc. in Miami, FL(301) 891 9556. Miscellaneous parts were replaced and the total service was nearly $3K.
Theoriginal paint at the time of purchase was "ok" but I decided prior to deliver to have a high gloss qualitycomputer matched paint jobcompleted. Thephotos really do not do justice to the mirror quality of thebody paint; I also had Lucianoinstall a new black padded top that has never been up in San Diego as car has always been garaged and never driven in the rain; Four (4)new Pirelli P195/60 P4's from Tire Rack were installed and has a little more than 2K miles.I also installed a new interstate battery; The is a spare in truck. An original Alfa Romeo branded AM/FM cassette (remember those days?) works great, but one knob is missing. The car drives, operates, runs, and handlesperfectly. All gages, horn, power windows/side mirrors function normally. I have never turned on air conditioner/heater onso I cannot fully vouch as to whether there are any issues with these systems. The interior is "above average", not pristine, but no cracks or fading in dash. There is some wear in the "velour" insert of the leather bucket seats. The original owner's manual is in the glovecompartment along with an OEM "map light".
I entered the car in a show at weekend car show in La Jolla and won threeawards. Why am I selling? Two knee replacements make it very extremely hard for me to get in and out of the vehicle.
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a classic, low mileage Alfa Romeo Veloce. At the "exotic"car dealers an Alfa of this quality will retailin the mid to upper$20,000 range, but the reserve on this car is much lower.
The car in located in San Diego, CA (Rancho Bernardo) and the purchaser is responsible for all transport charges. I plan to include many "extras" with the final purchase price including vehicle dust cover for garage parking; some parts (oil filter, wiper blades; etc). Also a really nice Alfa book (in Italian). I doubt you will find a nicer, low mileage, affordable Spider Veloce.
I'll be happy to answer any questions by email.
