1962 Alfa Romeo Spider Normale Additional Info:
You are looking at a perfectly restored, beautifully painted 1962 Giulietta spider. All metal finished, straight as an arrow, essentially better than new. Classic Alfa 501 red, lightly rockerschultz coated for stone resistance underneath, no expense spared in restoration over the course of 2 years and done to the highest standards. It comes with virtually all the parts needed to finish the car - seats, top frames, gauges, trim, suspension (some of which has been restored and painted), hinges, wheels, several rebuildable transmissions, a complete 2 liter engine plus several other engine blocks, heads, pans, head covers, handles, grill and front trim, headlight assemblies, windshield and frame, pedal box, etc. etc. etc. - along with a treasure trove of miscellaneous Alfa parts. The body is attached to a (fairly expensive) rotisserie stand, which transfers with the car. It is 360 degree rotatable easing assembly. Ideal for a hobbyist with no access to a rack. We encourage you to perform an inventory of the parts to assure you are getting everything you need, but it was a complete, driving car before disassembly. We cannot guarantee that every part has survived the process, but every effort was made to preserve their integrity. This was going to be our shop centerpiece, but unfortunately our shop was sold before we could finish the car. Our investment in the project has been staggering - between the purchase of the car and the metalwork and paint it took around $35,000 to get to this stage. However, our loss is your gain, as the toughest, most expensive, and time consuming part of the restoration has been completed. If we were to GIVE you the car as it sat before we started, you would spend some multiple of the our starting price to get the car to this stage. We are offering it at "no reserve" as our intention is to SELL it!
